The University of Illinois women's golf team is set to host the Illini Women's Invitational at Medinah Country Club in Medinah, Illinois. The tournament will take place from October 6 to October 7.

Medinah Country Club, located just west of Chicago, is recognized as one of the country's prominent private clubs. It was established in 1924 by a group of Shriners and features three courses designed by Tom Bendelow. For this event, the course will be set up as a par 72 and measure 6,166 yards.

The format for the invitational is a 54-hole stroke play competition. Teams will play 36 holes on Monday with an 8:30 a.m. CT shotgun start, followed by 18 holes on Tuesday starting at 9 a.m. CT.

Fifteen teams are scheduled to participate alongside Illinois, including Alabama, Auburn, Augusta, Central Florida, Charleston, Illinois State, Indiana, LSU, Michigan, Minnesota, San Diego State, SMU, Texas Tech, and Wisconsin.

Illinois' lineup for the tournament includes Brielle Mapanao, Anna Ritter, Alexis Myers, Victoria Zheng, and Erica Lee. Kylie Eaton, Sofia Vargas, Tavia Burgess, and Sophia Sulkar will compete as individuals.

This marks the seventh time Illinois has hosted the Illini Invitational at Medinah. The team's best results at this event were third-place finishes in both 2018 and 2019. Last year they finished eleventh.

Live scoring for the tournament will be available through Scoreboard powered by Clippd. Recaps and results will be posted after each day of play.

Following this event, Illinois will travel to Wilmington, North Carolina to participate in the Landfall Tradition from October 24 to October 26.
