Rep. Mary Miller, a U.S. Congresswoman representing Illinois’ 15th district, recently used her social media platform to address issues related to crime in Chicago and the participation of transgender women in women's sports and spaces.

On August 28, 2025, Miller posted: "For over a DECADE, Chicago has led the nation in murders. This is JB Pritzker’s legacy. Law-abiding residents in Illinois are begging for safety, and President Trump is ready to deliver. Watch @PressSec reveal the facts: https://t.co/BxBHXlbO0S"

The following day, August 29, 2025, she shared her legislative stance on women’s sports: "My bill makes clear: women’s sports and spaces are for women. Biological men don’t belong there — it’s just common sense.

Miller has represented Illinois’ 15th congressional district since replacing John Shimkus in 2021. She won her seat after defeating Erika Weaver in the 2020 general election with 73.5% of the vote and was re-elected in 2022 against Paul Lange with a margin of over seventy percent.
