Illinois Basketball will return to Chicago's United Center on November 19, where the team will face Alabama in a Big Ten/SEC match-up. Alabama reached the NCAA Elite Eight in 2025.
Ticket requests for this game open at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, September 2, for current I FUND members and Illinois Men's Basketball season ticket holders. After this pre-sale period, tickets will be available to the general public starting October 1.
The upcoming game marks Illinois' first regular-season appearance at the United Center since the 2018-19 season. The program has played at least one regular season game at the venue each year from 1994 through 2018, as well as participating in multiple Big Ten Tournaments and an NCAA Tournament held there.
Overall, Illinois has played 56 games at the United Center with a record of 38 wins and 18 losses. In regular-season contests at the arena, Illinois holds a record of 19-9, including an 18-8 mark against non-conference opponents.
Illinois last played at the United Center during the 2023 Big Ten Tournament and most recently faced a non-conference opponent there in the 2017-18 regular season.
