U.S. Representative Mary Miller, who serves Illinois’ 15th district in Congress after succeeding John Shimkus in 2021, posted a series of statements on social media criticizing Democratic policies and announcing new legislative action.
On August 25, 2025, Miller wrote, "Democrats are raging because President Trump is restoring the rule of law. They are the party of crime, chaos, and corruption — and America is DONE with it!"
Later that day, she commented on bail reform policies: "Releasing dangerous criminals under cashless bail is reckless and wrong.
