Rep. Mary Miller, U.S. Congresswoman representing Illinois’ 15th district, published a series of posts on her official X account addressing energy policy, truck driver requirements, and honoring the late Dr. James Dobson.
On August 20, 2025, Miller commented on energy costs in Illinois, stating: "Thank you, President Trump!! Illinois is being crushed with record-high energy bills because of useless wind and solar from CHINA. It’s time to end this SCAM and bring back reliable, affordable energy for our families and farmers!"
The following day, August 21, she paid tribute to Dr. James Dobson: "Today, we remember and honor the life and legacy of Dr. James Dobson, founder of @FocusFamily. Our family will always appreciate the memories we shared with him. Dr. Dobson taught us so much about marriage and parenting, and now he has entered into his reward in heaven. His work"
Later that same day, Miller addressed road safety concerns regarding truck drivers: "Driving an 18-wheeler isn’t a game. If you can’t read road signs or respond in an emergency, you shouldn’t be behind the wheel. Every trucker must speak ENGLISH, no exceptions."
Miller has represented Illinois’ 15th district since replacing John Shimkus in 2021 after winning consecutive general elections by significant margins—defeating Paul Lange in 2022 with over 71% of the vote and Erika Weaver in 2020 with more than 73%.
