Rep. Mary Miller, a U.S. Congresswoman representing Illinois’ 15th district, recently posted several statements on her social media account criticizing immigration policies and state spending on financial aid for undocumented immigrants.
On August 18, 2025, Miller wrote, "Under President Trump, ICE is arresting rapists, murderers, gang members, and violent abusers. These criminal illegal aliens shouldn’t have been allowed into our country. This is what protecting America looks like. JOIN ICE: https://t.co/YT4xuRBYNu "
The following day, August 19, 2025, she addressed taxpayer-funded financial aid in Illinois by stating to Fox News: "Allowing taxpayer-funded financial aid for illegal aliens is a slap in the face to hardworking Illinois families and students. Our state is drowning in debt, yet JB Pritzker is determined to drain even more taxpayer dollars to reward illegals." She also included a link in a separate post: "https://t.co/jV5si648Nf".
Mary Miller began serving in Congress after replacing John Shimkus in 2021 and has since won consecutive elections—defeating Paul Lange in 2022 with over 71% of the vote and Erika Weaver in 2020 with more than 73% support from voters.
