U.S. Representative Mary Miller, who serves Illinois’ 15th district in Congress, shared updates on her recent activities and policy positions through a series of posts on August 5, 2025.

In a message posted at 14:42 UTC, Miller highlighted constituent services offered by her office, stating, "Another month of delivering results for the people of IL-15! Whether it’s expediting a passport, resolving Social Security issues, or cutting through red tape with a federal agency, my team is here to help. Later that day at 19:00 UTC, Miller commented on national politics and her party’s legislative priorities. She wrote, "Despite the Democrats’ constant fear-mongering and endless distractions, @HouseGOP is unwavering in its commitment to advancing President Trump’s agenda, and we will deliver for the American people."

Addressing nutrition policy at 22:55 UTC, Miller stated her support for reforms to the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), posting: "Taxpayers shouldn’t be forced to fund junk food and sugary drinks that fuel America’s obesity and diabetes crisis. I’m glad @SecRollins and @SecKennedy are taking action to ensure SNAP benefits provide real nutrition, as intended! https://t.co/pOkmxHFUAV"

Mary Miller has represented Illinois’ 15th congressional district since replacing John Shimkus in 2021. In previous elections, she won against Paul Lange in 2022 with over 71% of the vote and defeated Erika Weaver in 2020 with more than 73% support.
