The City of Champaign has announced the reconstruction of Bradley Avenue between Alpine Drive and Duncan Road. The project will be carried out by Stark Excavating, which serves as the contractor for this work.

According to the city, starting Thursday, August 7, 2025, Bradley Avenue will be closed to traffic from Duncan Road to Alpine Drive. In addition, Alpine Drive will be closed at its intersection with Bradley Avenue. The section of Bradley Avenue east of Duncan Road will remain open during construction.

The closures are expected to last approximately six weeks. Both Bradley Avenue and Alpine Drive are scheduled to reopen around mid-October when the work on this portion is anticipated to be completed.
