On May 13, 2025, Rep. Miller commented on the allocation of SNAP benefits in a tweet: "Looks like Chuck’s caught in his own web of lies, again. To be clear: SNAP benefits were NEVER meant to be a welcome gift for the invaders Biden let in. Struggling Americans must come first, and the Ag Committee is making sure of it—saving BILLIONS in the process!" This statement highlights her stance that these benefits should prioritize American citizens over immigrants.

The following day, on May 14, 2025, she expressed her opinion on immigration and government assistance with another tweet: "We cannot expect illegals to self-deport if they are allowed to receive government benefits. They must be cut off!!" Here she advocates for cutting off government support as a measure to encourage self-deportation among undocumented immigrants.

Later that same day, Rep. Miller addressed taxpayer funding for abortion services through her Twitter account: "Taxpayer dollars should NEVER fund abortion businesses like Planned Parenthood. I’m grateful for my good friend @RepHarshbarger’s boldness in standing for life and exposing the truth!! WATCH: " In this post, she aligns herself with anti-abortion sentiments and commends fellow representative Diana Harshbarger for similar views.

Mary Miller was born in Oak Park, Illinois in 1959 and currently resides in Oakland. She graduated from Eastern Illinois University with a BA degree.
