Fighting Illini women's golf team is preparing to compete in the 2025 Big Ten Women's Golf Championship. The tournament will take place over three days from April 18 to 20 at Bulle Rock Golf Course in Havre de Grace, Maryland.

The Big Ten Women's Golf Championship is returning to Bulle Rock Golf Course for the second consecutive year. This course, designed by architect Pete Dye, offers a par of 72 and stretches over 6,187 yards.

All 18 teams from the Big Ten Conference are set to compete in this 54-hole tournament. Players will complete one 18-hole round each day, with tee times scheduled to start at 7:30 a.m. CT on Friday and Saturday, and at 7:00 a.m. CT for the final round on Sunday.

Teams participating in the championship include Indiana, Iowa, Illinois, Maryland, Michigan, Michigan State, Minnesota, Northwestern, Ohio State, Oregon, Nebraska, Purdue, Penn State, Rutgers, UCLA, USC, Washington, and Wisconsin.

The Illini lineup includes Victoria Zheng as No. 1, followed by Anna Ritter, Yurang Li, Brielle Mapanao, Lexanne Halama, and Erica Lee.

In recent years, Illinois has made significant strides in the Big Ten Championships. The team claimed its first-ever Big Ten title in 2024 under the guidance of coach Renee Slone at Fox Chapel Golf Club in Pittsburgh. Historically, Illinois boasts five individual Big Ten medalists, including Renee Slone in 1991 and 1993, and Crystal Wang in 2023.

Crystal Wang's performance in the 2024 championship was remarkable. She finished with a 9-under 62, setting both a program record for the lowest single-round score and the best round in NCAA Division I women's golf history at a conference championship. Additionally, Isabel Sy was named to the Big Ten All-Championship Team after securing fourth place with a 1-over score.

Live scoring for the tournament will be accessible on Scoreboard.Clippd.com. Updates and results will be published each day on FightingIllini.com.

Following the championship, the Illini await potential NCAA Regional selections, announced live on Golf Channel on April 23 at 10 a.m. CT.
