Illinois vs. Oregon softball game suspended due to weather

The Illinois softball team's series opener against Oregon was suspended due to weather conditions. The game, held at Jane Sanders Stadium in Eugene, Oregon, will resume on Saturday at 2:05 p.m. CT. At the time of suspension, Oregon was leading with a score of 6-0 in the third inning.

Following the completion of this first game, the second game of the series is scheduled to begin 30 minutes later.
