Three players from the University of Illinois' women's basketball team have received All-Big Ten honors following a notable regular season under head coach Shauna Green. Kendall Bostic was named to the All-Big Ten First Team, marking her first time receiving this honor. Genesis Bryant earned a spot on the Second Team for the second time in her career, and Adalia McKenzie received an honorable mention for the second consecutive year.
Bostic's performance throughout the season has been significant. She became the 18th player in Illinois history to be named to the All-Big Ten First Team. During her final season, she broke Illinois' career rebounding record and tied for most career double-doubles with 19 performances over 29 games. Her contributions include leading the conference in several categories such as minutes per game (35.0), rebounds per game (11.3), and double-doubles (19).
Genesis Bryant also stood out by securing a place on the All-Big Ten Second Team for a second time, having previously achieved this distinction during the 2022-23 season. As Illinois' primary point guard, Bryant has delivered consistent performances with averages of 14.9 points, 3.9 assists, and 3.6 rebounds per game.
Adalia McKenzie was recognized with an honorable mention by media members for her efforts on both ends of the court during all four years of her college career at Illinois.
The Fighting Illini will continue their season in Indianapolis at the Big Ten Tournament where they are set to play against either Nebraska or Rutgers.
