The Illinois women's gymnastics team is set to face Washington and Illinois State on Senior Day at Huff Hall in Champaign. The meet, scheduled for February 22, will see the Illini competing against a new conference opponent, Washington, and nonconference foe Illinois State.
Washington's gymnastics team recently competed against Maryland, finishing with a score of 194.650 to Maryland's 195.725. Key performances included Kristin Lin tying her season best on vault with a 9.775 and Taylor Russon achieving first place on bars with a score of 9.850.
Illinois State achieved their third-best team score this year by defeating Greenville with a score of 195.275-189.325 at CEFCU Arena. Mya Robinson, Alana Laster, and Jaye Mack tied for the top spot on floor with scores of 9.850 each.
The Illini recently faced Iowa, ending with a score of 196.200-194.975 in favor of Iowa. Makayla Green led the way on bars with a score of 9.825, while Chloe Cho scored a career-high 9.900 on vault.
