Illinois softball has released its promotional schedule for the 2025 season, which includes various events and giveaways at Eichelberger Field. The schedule features popular events such as Bark in the Park, Strikeout Cancer Weekend, and the World's Largest Softball Tailgate.
The season begins with a game against Saint Louis on March 7 at 2 p.m. CT, marked by St. Patrick's Day celebrations. On March 11, Illinois will face Indiana State at 5 p.m. CT for Camper Reunion Night, followed by postgame autographs.
March 12 is dedicated to Women's Empowerment as Illinois plays against Illinois State at 5 p.m. CT. This event celebrates women's achievements through a special match.
The series against Wisconsin starts on March 14 with FamILLy Night, including a T-shirt giveaway at the 5 p.m. CT game. The next day features a Military Appreciation Game at 1 p.m. CT, and on March 16, Illinois will honor the Tom Jones Challenger League during their noon game.
On March 25, Pride Night will be observed against UNI with free pride pins and mini flags available from the start of the game at 5 p.m. CT.
The Bark in the Park event takes place during games against Washington on March 28-29, featuring an adoption drive in partnership with Champaign County Humane Society.
April kicks off with Wii Sports Night on April 1 against Western Illinois at 5 p.m. CT.
Against Michigan State from April 11-13, several themed days are planned: Pink Game with rally towels on April 11; Strikeout All Cancer on April 12; and Gold Game on April 13.
First Responders Night occurs when Valparaiso visits on April 16 at a match beginning at 5 p.m., where attendees receive free hats.
MVP Night honors professors teaching Illini players during their matchup against DePaul on April 22 starting at four o'clock sharp!
Field Trip Day welcomes Eastern Illinois fans coming into town come Wednesday evening (April thirtieth) promptly around five pm central time zone-wise...
