A section of Market Street, located just south of Logan Street, is temporarily closed for a sanitary sewer repair. The closure is managed by A&R Mechanical Services, Inc., which commenced the work earlier today. According to the schedule, the street is expected to reopen to traffic by 7 a.m. on Friday, February 14, 2025, contingent upon favorable weather conditions.
The project is part of ongoing efforts to maintain and improve city infrastructure. Residents and commuters are advised to plan alternative routes during this period.
"Work began this morning and is planned to be completed and reopened to traffic by 7 a.m. on Friday, February 14, 2025, weather permitting," stated the release from A&R Mechanical Services.
