Bryant, who played the entire game, scored 20 points and was perfect from the free throw line. She also contributed four rebounds, two assists, and a steal. Freshman Berry Wallace added 14 points and made four three-pointers while Brynn Shoup-Hill's late three-pointer gave Illinois a temporary lead.
Kendall Bostic recorded her fifth consecutive double-double with 13 points and 14 rebounds. Adalia McKenzie added nine points along with seven assists.
The Illini's victory was built on effective three-point shooting and capitalizing on offensive rebounds. The game featured multiple lead changes, especially in the last minute, highlighting both teams' competitiveness.
