Neil Street lane closure planned for holiday tree removal

The City of Champaign Forestry Section has announced a temporary lane closure on Neil Street at Main Street. This measure is necessary to dismantle the Holiday tree situated in front of 2 Main Street. The closure will affect one southbound lane and is scheduled for Wednesday, January 29, 2025, depending on weather conditions. The lane will be intermittently closed between 6 a.m. and noon.
