On January 21, 2025, Mikal Washington, a Community Relations Specialist with the Equity and Engagement Department, facilitated a follow-up meeting involving The Springfield Project, H3, First Followers, and Business Elevator. This session was a continuation of an earlier meeting where these organizations toured an incubator space in Springfield under the guidance of The Springfield Project.
The follow-up meeting offered participants the chance to ask questions and gain insights necessary for developing a similar incubator space in Champaign.
