Wells and Wells Construction is set to close Chalmers Street between Sixth Street and Wright Street on January 15, 2025. This closure is necessary for the removal of a crane from a construction project at 608 E. Chalmers Street. The closure will take place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., depending on weather conditions.
In addition, Daniel Street will also be closed to through traffic between Sixth Street and Wright Street due to one-way traffic patterns in the area. Southbound traffic on Wright Street will be detoured east at John Street, while northbound traffic on Wright Street will remain unaffected.
These measures are part of efforts to ensure safety and efficiency during the construction process.
