Illinois falls to Minnesota; prepares for upcoming game against Iowa

Illinois faced a setback in their latest basketball game against Minnesota, losing 68-61 at Williams Arena. Genesis Bryant led the team with 20 points, marking her third consecutive game scoring 20 or more points. Bryant also contributed six rebounds and two assists.

Adalia McKenzie, playing in her home state, added 14 points, two rebounds, and two assists. She also recorded three steals during the game. Kendall Bostic was close to her season-best rebound performance with 15 boards, adding nine points and two blocks to her stats.

Jasmine Brown-Hagger scored 10 points and provided three assists along with four rebounds. Berry Wallace made an impact off the bench by scoring eight points and grabbing five rebounds while connecting on two three-pointers.
