Tracy Parsons, Community Relations Manager, and Mikal Washington, Community Relations Specialist from the Equity and Engagement Department, took part in a tour of The Springfield Project’s CAP 1908 site on December 18, 2024. This project is designed to work with public agencies and private partners to support community development and revitalization, promote diversity initiatives, and assist in solving community problems.
The visit included participation from members of Business Elevator and H3, which are local economic development entities. During the tour, city staff learned about the site's development process and the collaborative partners involved. They also had the chance to interact with The Springfield Project's staff.
The event provided valuable insights into how these partnerships can benefit community growth and problem-solving efforts.
