In a competitive basketball matchup, the No. 21 Illinois team secured a 68-55 victory over Canisius at the Koessler Athletic Center on Monday night. This game marked Fighting Illini head coach Shauna Green's return to her alma mater.
Adalia McKenzie led the Illini with her first double-double of the season, scoring 15 points and grabbing 10 rebounds. Kendall Bostic contributed a team-high 16 points and added seven rebounds. Jasmine Brown-Hagger made an impact off the bench with 13 points after missing three games due to absence.
