In the 2022-23 school year, 27% of the students in Deland-Weldon Community Unit School District 57 passed the Math portion of the Illinois Assessment of Readiness (IAR), according to the Illinois State Board of Education.

Of the 63 students in Deland-Weldon Community Unit School District 57 who took the Math portion of the test, approximately 17 (27%) passed.

The percentage of Deland-Weldon Community Unit School District 57 students who met or exceeded expectations on the IAR increased by 13.2% compared to the previous school year.

Deland-Weldon Community Unit School District 57 roughly covers five schools within Piatt County and has a main office in De Land.

The Illinois Assessment of Readiness (IAR) assesses the progress of students in grades 3-8 in meeting the Illinois Learning Standards in English language arts and mathematics.

According to the 2024 Illinois Report Card, math proficiency among Illinois students in grades 3-8 remains below pre-pandemic levels, while reading performance has recovered. Meanwhile, 11th graders have experienced significant declines in both subjects, falling below pre-pandemic benchmarks.
