In a commanding display at the State Farm Center, Illinois defeated Le Moyne with a score of 94-25 on Monday afternoon. The event, part of Field Trip Day, attracted 13,486 spectators, marking the third-largest crowd in the program's history.
Kendall Bostic led Illinois with a double-double, scoring 25 points and grabbing 12 rebounds. "Bostic also notched one steal," contributing significantly to the team's victory. Gretchen Dolan achieved a career-high of 15 points and seven assists. Adalia McKenzie continued her streak by scoring in double figures for the fourth consecutive game this season with 14 points.
Jasmine Brown-Hagger added depth from the bench with 13 points and four assists. The Illini's defense was robust, allowing only 25 points from Le Moyne, setting a record for fewest points allowed in a home game.
Illinois dominated from the start, establishing an early lead with efficient shooting and maintaining it through strong defensive plays. They held Le Moyne scoreless for extended periods during both halves.
