Illinois volleyball is set to face Ohio State in a midweek match at Huff Hall. The game will be broadcast on the Big Ten Network, with the first serve scheduled for 8 p.m. CT. Illinois enters the match with a 14-12 record, while Ohio State stands at 10-15.

This season marks the 50th anniversary of Illinois volleyball, led by head coach Chris Tamas in his seventh year. Tamas has achieved a record of 129-79 during his tenure.

Tickets originally designated for November 17 will be valid for this match. In their last outing, Illinois lost to Nebraska in four sets, with Raina Terry leading the team with 20 kills.

The series between Illinois and Ohio State currently favors Ohio State at 46-45. Illinois has lost the last five encounters against them.

Raina Terry has been a standout player this season, recording over 20 kills in nine matches and ranking tenth all-time for career kills at Illinois with 1,559. She also ranks fourth in career service aces with 157.

Kennedy Collins recently reached her milestone of 400 career blocks during her time playing for Illinois.

Ohio State comes into this week holding a Big Ten record of 7-9 and an overall record of 10-15. They have struggled on the road this season but are led by Emily Londot who leads the league in points per set.

The Fighting Illini's blocking strategy has proven effective throughout the season, achieving double-digit blocks in several matches and maintaining an impressive record when leading opponents in blocks.

Both teams feature familiar faces on their coaching staffs; Jen Flynn Oldenburg and Michelle Bartsch-Hackley from Ohio State both have ties to Illinois volleyball history.

Chris Tamas continues to guide the Illini through a challenging schedule that includes numerous NCAA Tournament qualifiers among their opponents.
