Five former Illini golfers are competing this week in various professional golf tours. Adrien Dumont de Chassart, Brian Campbell, Dylan Meyer, Thomas Pieters, and Steve Stricker are set to tee off starting Thursday.

Adrien Dumont de Chassart is continuing his rookie season on the PGA Tour at the Puerto Rico Open. This event marks his seventh appearance this season as he aims to make it through to the weekend for the third time. He has previously made consecutive cuts at the Farmers Insurance Open and WM Phoenix Open earlier this year. Dumont de Chassart also announced his participation in Belgium's DP World Tour's 2024 Soudal Open in May, where he will join fellow former Illini Thomas Pieters and Matthis Besard.

On the PGA Tour Champions circuit, Steve Stricker is pursuing his third consecutive top-10 finish of the season at the Cologuard Classic in Tucson, Arizona. Stricker has a strong history at this event, having finished in the top 10 each time he participated and securing a victory in 2018.

In Santiago, Chile, Brian Campbell and Dylan Meyer are competing at the Astara Chile Classic on the Korn Ferry Tour. Campbell has successfully made all five cuts this season and recently achieved a runner-up position via playoff at February's Astara Golf Championship followed by a T3 finish at last week's 117 Visa Argentina Open. Meanwhile, Meyer is making his first start of the season and his 25th career start on this tour.

Thomas Pieters competed last week in Jeddah with RangeGoats GC in LIV Golf League play. This week he seeks to improve their standing as they compete at Hong Kong Golf Club. Currently ranked ninth in driving distance within LIV Golf, Pieters holds a tie for 42nd place individually while RangeGoats sit seventh among thirteen teams after three events.
