New season tickets for the 2024-25 Fighting Illini women's basketball are now available. Under the leadership of head coach Shauna Green, Illinois has achieved a home record of 24-8 over the past two seasons, including notable victories against top-ranked teams Iowa and Indiana.
In her tenure, Green has guided the team to 41 wins and secured the program's first-ever postseason championship at the 2024 Women's Basketball Invitation Tournament (WBIT). The team also recorded consecutive top-5 season attendances at State Farm Center.
The second year under Green marked back-to-back postseason appearances for Illinois, a feat last accomplished in the 2006-07 and 2007-08 seasons. The team earned an at-large bid to the inaugural WBIT, where they clinched the championship with five consecutive victories. Makira Cook was honored as the tournament's Most Outstanding Player, with Kendall Bostic and Genesis Bryant joining her on the All-Tournament Team. All three players have confirmed their return for another season.
Fans renewing their tickets are advised to log in online before July 26. Those preferring physical tickets should renew or purchase by June 21.
