The Public Works Department has announced plans to install a "Funeral Only" parking sign on Elm Street. The sign will be placed on the west side of the street, just south of Owen's Funeral Home driveway, located at 101 N. Elm Street. This initiative aims to provide sufficient space for the hearse to access the funeral home when vehicles are parked on both sides of the street. Additionally, it is expected to improve visibility for drivers heading south on Elm Street towards University Avenue. To implement this change, approximately 45 feet of unmarked parking space will be removed.
