On October 8, 2024, the Equity & Engagement Department's Community Safety & Justice Division organized a meeting for Blueprint partners. These partners comprise over 20 entities dedicated to tackling the root causes of gun violence in Champaign.
During the meeting, attendees were introduced to new Justice Victim Advocates Angela Worthey and Andre Davis. Community Relations Manager Jorge Elvir shared detailed information about monthly reporting procedures and site visit requirements.
Additionally, Alex Malone from the City of Champaign Finance Department provided an update on current expenditures and remaining funds for the Blueprint initiative.
