In order to perform sewer lining and associated repair work, A&R Services and Hoerr Construction will be working at the intersection of Kirby Avenue and Carriage Way the week of September 16, 2024, weather permitting.
Traffic on Kirby Avenue is not anticipated to be affected for most of the project; however, on Tuesday, September 17, a westbound lane of Kirby Avenue between Mayfair Road and Carriage Way will be closed for storm sewer lining. Westbound traffic on Kirby Avenue will be reduced to a single lane through a short construction work zone.
Work operations and lane impacts on Kirby Avenue are daytime only, affecting travel between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. One northbound lane of the entrance onto Carriage Way from Kirby Avenue is anticipated to be closed much of the week. Drivers are encouraged to use caution when entering or exiting Carriage Way during this time.
