On Saturday, August 17, 2024, the Ashland Park HOA hosted their Neighborhood Resource Fair & Street Party. Staff from Neighborhood Services, Police, and Fire supported the event. Neighbors reported that the event was great fun, and they were glad to have the opportunity to connect with all the resource vendors who participated.
On Thursday, August 22, 2024, Neighborhood Services hosted the CNNC Live! at Country Brook resource fair. Neighbors from the Stonegate Village and Champaign Park apartment communities were also invited to attend. Several vendors were on hand to offer information on programs and services that can help address concerns unique to families living in large apartment communities.
As summer concludes, Neighborhood Services will be moving their engagement efforts indoors, hosting neighborhood meetings to address key goals and opportunities specific to those neighborhood areas.
