On August 6, 2024, the Champaign Unit 4 School District held a school supply giveaway at Market Place Mall. From 11 AM to 1 PM, over 30 partnering agencies gathered to distribute various school supplies to families. The Equity & Engagement Department participated in the event to provide families with information about community resources available to them.
Equity and Engagement staff assisted First Followers in distributing notebooks, folders, and pens. This event aimed to help Unit 4 families obtain necessary school supplies and connect with various community family-based organizations.
