On Friday, August 9, 2024, Neighborhood Services supported the End of Summer Celebration hosted by Y on the Fly. Families enjoyed games, a bounce house, and food. The Neighborhood Ambassadors assisted with setup and teardown, as well as distributing food during the event. Attendees received school supplies as kids prepare to return to school.
The Ponds of Windsor HOA recently completed a commons area beautification project. The group utilized small grant funds to cover the costs of trimming trees, spreading mulch, and replacing dead plants and flowers. Groups can apply for up to $2,500 per event or project, and up to $5,000 each fiscal year.
Neighborhood Services will host the next CNNC Live! event on Thursday, August 22, 2024. The event will focus on offering wraparound services and resources for families facing challenges associated with living in rental units in large apartment complexes.
