On Friday, August 2, 2024, the Devonshire HOA hosted their first-ever block party. Approximately 150 neighbors attended, enjoying food trucks, games, and conversations. The Neighborhood Ambassadors supported the event by transporting items borrowed from the engagement trailer.

On August 6, 2024, two registered neighborhood groups hosted National Night Out (NNO) events to promote neighborhood safety and connections among residents. These events were funded by the Neighborhood Small Grant Program.

Copper Ridge HOA's NNO event provided an opportunity for residents to engage with Neighborhood Ambassador staff. The event included food and family-friendly activities.

West Ridge HOA organized a movie night as part of their NNO event. Neighbors gathered to watch a family-friendly movie together. The Neighborhood Services Ambassadors provided support for this event as well.

On Thursday, August 9, 2024, CNNC Live! conducted its second visit to the Providence at Thornberry community. City staff from NSD, Equity & Engagement, Police, and Fire departments along with community resource providers shared information and back-to-school materials.
