Daniel Street closure between Fifth and Sixth streets extended until August 5

A&R Mechanical Services, Inc. has announced an extended closure of a section of Daniel Street between Fifth Street and Sixth Street to perform sanitary sewer and sinkhole repairs. Through traffic on the block will be restricted; however, local property access will be maintained. The intersection at Daniel Street and Fifth Street will remain open to traffic.

The work is set to continue through Monday, August 5, 2024, with completion and reopening scheduled for 4 p.m., weather permitting.
