The Champaign Fire Department’s Building Safety Division recently issued building permits for several projects, each with an estimated construction value of $250,000 or more.
Permits were issued for the following addresses:
- 406 N Prospect: $300,000 on July 11, 2024, for an addition to a single-family dwelling (SFD).
- 2000 W John: $511,323 on July 15, 2024, for alterations related to solar installations.
- 1908 S First: $367,260 on July 22, 2024, for office alterations.
- 2315 W John: $250,849 on July 22, 2024, for fire station alterations.
- 2506 N Prospect: $378,000 on July 24, 2024, for restaurant alterations.
The overall construction value for projects in 2024 stands at $76,068,720.
