On alternating Thursdays throughout the summer, the Neighborhood Services Department hosts CNNC Live! events. During July, engagement efforts focused on two key neighborhoods in north Champaign.
The Carver Park CNNC Live! event was held on July 11. City departments including CMO, Public Works, Planning, Police, Fire, and Equity and Engagement were present. Several City Council members and staff from community resource providers also participated. They walked the neighborhood to share information and resources with Carver Park residents.
On July 25, CNNC Live! was held at Bristol Park. The event provided an opportunity for City staff and community resource providers to share information and resources with neighbors in the Bristol Place Residences community and surrounding areas. The event included food, music, family-friendly games, activities, and information sharing from community resource providers.
