The City of Champaign has issued a request for Letters of Interest from firms to provide professional architectural design services for the construction of a new fire station. This new facility will replace Fire Station No. 3, currently located at 702 W. Bradley Avenue in Champaign.
The city plans to use a qualification-based selection process, as outlined in City Administrative Policy 2.08, to procure these services. The selected firm will be responsible for preparing architectural plans, specifications, and cost opinions. The complete list of tasks will be finalized after the selection process is completed.
Work on this project is scheduled to commence in the last quarter of 2024. All submitted Letters of Interest will be reviewed by the city, and firms that best meet the city's requirements will be invited for an interview.
