On the PGA TOUR Champions circuit, Steve Stricker returns to Firestone Country Club in Akron, Ohio, to defend his title at the Kaulig Companies Championship. Stricker has previously won this event twice.
Thomas Pieters will compete this week at LIV Golf's event in Andalucia, Spain. The RangeGoats team is ranked ninth overall, while Pieters is currently ranked No. 30 individually. He finished T32 in LIV's recent event in Nashville and secured a top-10 finish last week at the BMW International Open.
"Thomas Pieters' superb finish brought him to 12 under par for the tournament," tweeted RangeGoatsGC on July 7, 2024.
In Berthoud, Colo., former Illini golfers Brian Campbell and Dylan Meyer are set to participate in The Ascendant at TPC Colorado alongside Timmy Crawford making his Korn Ferry Tour debut. Campbell is currently No. 14 on the points list with three top-10 finishes this season.
