Springfield Avenue lane closure scheduled for sewer cleaning

Hoerr Construction will close the south lane of Springfield Avenue between New Street and Lynn Street to perform storm sewer cleaning. During this period, eastbound traffic on Springfield Avenue will merge into the center turn lane through a short construction work zone. Westbound traffic on Springfield Avenue will remain unaffected.

The work is scheduled to occur between 7 a.m. on Tuesday, July 2, and 4 p.m. on Wednesday, July 3, 2024. Work operations and lane impacts are limited to daytime hours only. Minor traffic delays may occur at work zones. The project is weather-dependent and may be delayed in the event of inclement weather.
