First Street lane closure announced for storm sewer cleaning

Hoerr Construction will close the center of First Street between Park Street and University Avenue to perform storm sewer cleaning. During this period, both northbound and southbound traffic on First Street will be reduced to a single lane through a short construction work zone.

The work is scheduled to begin around 7 a.m. on Tuesday, July 2, 2024, and is planned to be completed and reopened to traffic by 4 p.m. The project is weather dependent and may be delayed in the event of inclement weather.
