As part of the City’s 2024 Concrete Street Improvements Project, the pavement on Park Terrace Lane from Robert Drive to Augusta Drive is being reconstructed. Stark Excavating is the contractor for the City of Champaign. Stark will begin work on the westbound lane on Tuesday, May 28, 2024, weather permitting.
Beginning May 28, the eastbound lane of Park Terrace Lane will be closed between Robert Drive and Augusta Drive. This section of Park Terrace Lane will temporarily become one-lane, one-way westbound traffic only. Reconstruction of the pavement on Park Terrace Lane will take approximately four to six weeks. Lawn restoration will be done in the fall during optimal growing season to allow the new sod to thrive.
