Throughout April, the City of Champaign collaborated with a club at Academy High to organize a period product drive. This marks the second annual donation drive, which organizers have deemed a significant success. Drop boxes were placed at seven locations across the Champaign area, and an online shop was also available for contributions. The club received donations estimated to exceed $7,000.

The collected donations will benefit community members at Strides Lower Barrier Shelter and Courage Connections. Organizers expressed gratitude to all contributors who helped make this initiative successful.
