On May 15, 2024, Tracy Parsons from the Equity and Engagement Department attended the GLAM Etiquette Dinner. GLAM is a high school group for young women that has been in partnership with Urbana Freedom School for the past two years. The organization's mission is to support teenagers by emphasizing their self-identity, offering positive affirmations, and boosting etiquette and morale. This initiative helps them comprehend their roles as young minority women within the community.
