In a bid to complete pavement patching, Illinois American Water and Shaw Brothers have announced the closure of one westbound lane of Bradley Avenue between Sixth Street and Crispus Drive. The reduction of westbound traffic to a single lane in the area will commence on Wednesday, May 15, and is expected to last until Monday, May 20, 2024, provided the weather conditions are favorable.
The closure is part of an ongoing construction project aimed at improving road conditions and ensuring public safety. The inconvenience caused by the temporary lane closure is anticipated to be offset by the benefits of smoother and safer roads once the work is completed.
