Village of Fisher Board of Trustees met April 15

The Continued Board of Trustees meeting was held on 15 April 2024 at 6:00 p.m. at the Community Center.
Roll call: Brown-present, Deer-present, Estes-present, Ponton-present, Seidelman-present, Spaulding-absent, Bayler-present.
Public Comment: Cale and Kate Zehr spoke to the board on the split and rezoning of their property at the corner of Park and Fifth Street. This will go in front of the Planning and Zoning Board. Shawn Dockham asked about the possibility of opening up the alley behind 5th Street to make it two way.
NEW BUSINESS:
Motion by Estes, 2nd by Deer to approve Ordinance 24-7 Approving and Authorizing the execution of a TIF Redevelopment Agreement with A&M Land Company, LLC in Fisher TIF District 1; Ordinance 24-11 Ratify Ordinance 24-6 Approving and Authoring the execution of a TIF Redevelopment Agreement with Shawn Dockham and Shawn’s Garage, LLC in Fisher TIF District 1; and Ordinance 24-12 Ratify Ordinance 24-8 Approving and Authorizing the execution of a TIF Redevelopment Agreement with Topline Properties, LLC-201 Division in Fisher TIF District 1. Roll call vote: Deer-yes, Estes-yes, Ponton-yes, Seidelman-abstain, Brown-abstain, Bayler-yes. Motion carried.
Motion by Ponton, 2nd by Seidelman to approve Ordinance 24-13 approval of the petition for Annexation of 1.48 +/- acres to the Village of Fisher. Roll call vote: Estes-yes, Ponton-yes, Seidelman-yes, Brown-yes, Deer-yes. Motion carried.
Motion by Seidelman, 2nd by Estes to go into Executive Session pursuant to 5 ILCS 120/2 ©(1) for the limited purpose of considering the employment, performance and/or compensation of one or more employees of the Village. Roll call vote: Ponton-yes, Seidelman-yes, Brown-yes, Deer-yes, Estes-yes.
Motion carried. Time: 7:00 pm
Motion by Estes, 2nd by Seidelman to approve the following salary adjustments:
Steve Bein: raise to $58,836
Nick Cruppenink: raise to $45,000
Brenda Cook: raise to $50,000
Ken Roemer: raise to $45,680
Mary Hubbell: raise to $40,000
Roll call vote: Deer-yes, Estes-yes, Ponton-yes, Seidelman-yes, Brown-yes. Motion carried.
There was no media present.
Motion by Deer, 2nd by Brown to adjourn. Voice vote: all yes. Motion carried. Time: 7:15 pm
