The 2024 Champaign Neighborhood Network Conference (CNNC) is set to take place on May 17, 2024, at the I-Hotel and Conference Center in Champaign. According to the event announcement, the conference aims to empower and connect vibrant neighborhoods in the area.

One of the highlights of the conference will be a series of engaging workshops led by representatives from City Departments, local governing bodies, and community partner agencies. These workshops will cover topics relevant to maintaining vibrant and engaged neighborhoods.

The keynote speaker for the event will be Precious McKesson, President of Neighborhoods USA (NUSA). McKesson's wisdom and passion are expected to inspire all attendees, as mentioned in the announcement.

CNNC is designed to bring together Champaign’s registered neighborhood group leaders, their neighbors, and anyone interested in neighborhood organizing and engagement efforts. The event is free and open to the public, with registration currently open until April 15, 2024.

Following the conference, attendees are invited to join a resource vendor fair, cookout, and concert in the Washington and Walnut parking lot on May 18, 2024. This post-conference celebration aims to further foster community spirit and collaboration.

In the words of the organizers, "Together, We Thrive!" The event encourages community members to come together, learn, share, and grow. The hashtags #CNNC2024, #ChampaignStrong, and #CommunityMatters reflect the spirit of unity and collaboration that the conference aims to promote.
