On Sunday, February 11, former Liberty High School standout Sydney Malott’s current college team, the Illinois Fighting Illini, lost 6-5 in their NCAA Division I game against the Virginia Tech Hokies.

The game took place in Auburn, Alabama. This was their second matchup against the Virginia Tech Hokies this season.

The Fighting Illini’s next game is scheduled for Friday, February 16 at 2:05 p.m. in Leesburg, Florida against Liberty Lady Flames.
