City of Danville Policemen’s Pension Fund Board of Trustees met Dec. 11.
Here are the minutes provided by the board:
1. The joint special meeting was called to order by President Pat Carley at 10:04 a.m.
2. Roll call was taken. Present was Glenn D. Miller, Treasurer Chris Hereen, Comptroller Ashlyn Massey,, Lisa Monson, Amy Schweizer, President Patrick Carley, Attorney Pinscilla of Reimer, Dobrovolny, & Labardi PC, Secretary Kody Kidwell arrived at 10:10. The Fire Pension Board was also present.
3. Audience Comments - None
4. Discuss and Approve Illinois Department of Insurance Annual Statement and Interrogatories - Motion to place them on file was made by Glenn Miller, seconded by Lisa Monson. Roll Call Vote, all ayes, no nays; motion carried
5. Review and Approve IDOI Actuarial Valuation Reports - Recommended Contribution Option from L&A was $4,696,507, which shows 100% funding. The Pension Fund is currently funded at 34.17% and has an unfunded liability of $52,714,736. Motion to approve made by Pat Carley, seconded by Glenn Miller. Voice Vote, all ayes, no nays; motion carried
6. Review and Approve City's 2023 Tax Levy proposal and Firemen's & Police Pension Annual Report to City Council - The proposed amount for 2023 is a 0% increase. Motion to approve made by Lisa Monson, seconded by Pat Carley. Roll Call Vote, all ayes, no nays; motion caried
7. Discuss and Approve IRS Tax Payments - Amount to be paid for 2021 is $52,352.84. The amount for 2022 is still unknown. Motion to approve payments made by Pat Carley, seconded by Glenn Miller. Roll Call Vote, all ayes, no nays; motion carried.
