Chapin Rose, State Sen. of Illinois State Senate, Illinois General Assembly criticized Gov. J.B. Pritzker on Nov 1st, urging him to prioritize the issues within the state rather than focusing his efforts nationwide. "We’re here today to THINK Illinois. As you know, over the last several weeks, the governor has been out gallivanting across the country talking about Think Big America, but here in Illinois, our constituents are hurting," said Chapin Rose.

The senator further highlighted that problems were accumulating within the state and called for a shift of focus back towards its citizens and their needs. "I would strongly suggest that Gov. Pritzker stop running all over the country, stop this nonsense and get back to Illinois and thinking about the people that he represents and that we represent — the taxpaying citizens of our great state," said Rose.

Rose has been serving in Senate since 2013 as a representative for 51st District after being a member of House of Representatives from 2003 until 2012. His responsibilities include being the minority spokesperson for Senate Appropriations Committee as well as taking part in insurance, judiciary, transportation and privacy committees of Senate.

On another note, it was mentioned that Gov. J.B Pritzker launched his nonprofit called 'Think Big America' in Oct., following up on his Think Big campaign theme from his gubernatorial run in 2018.

Think Big America aims to promote ballot measures designed to safeguard abortion rights with an influential board of directors which includes businessperson Desirée Rogers along with Margaret Croke who is an Illinois state Rep., and Michelle Harris who holds office as Chicago Ald.
